Pieles

Pieles (Skins) explores the body as an archive of lived experience. Each work begins with an abstract painting built from layers of texture, color, writing, and material, which is later partially erased to reveal a female body formed through negative space. The surrounding abstraction becomes the skin itself—an organ of memory, sensation, and energy—holding traces of scars, desires, and transformation.
